Day 1: Vienna
Vienna is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. You can get here on one of the direct Aeroflot or Austrian Airlines flights. On the first day in the morning, take the U4 subway to Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this beautiful baroque palace, young Mozart played before Empress Maria Theresa when he was only 5 years old. The luxurious palace park is the world's oldest zoo, where you can immediately climb the observation deck of the Glorietta Pavilion and enjoy the magnificent views.
Almost all the interesting places in Vienna are in the Old Town. For example, St. Stephen's Cathedral, which hosted the marriage of Mozart, the royal palace of Hofburg, as well as countless narrow streets and cozy squares. In the evening, we advise you to dine at one of the cozy traditional Grintzing Taverns (reach by tram 38). Here you should try the white wine Gruner Veltliner, which goes well with pork dishes.

Day 2
Take the morning training of the Spanish Riding School or the performance of the Vienna Boys Choir, and then visit the central cemetery where the great composers Strauss, Schubert and Beethoven are buried (Zentralfriedhof, tram 71). Already in love with Vienna? Then your next stop is Belvedere Palace, in which, among other works by Gustav Klimt, you can see the well-known Kiss. There are many deserving museums and galleries in Vienna, such as the Museum of Art History, the Leopold Museum, and Albertina.
Stop by one of the Viennese coffee shops. Famous writers Stefan Zweig and Arthur Schnitzler loved to spend their time here with a cup of melange and reading a newspaper. And, of course, a piece of apple strudel or Sacher cake is put to coffee.

Day 3 and 4: Trips from Vienna
From Vienna Central Station, trains depart to Graz (journey time is 2 hours 30 minutes). In this small but lively city there are two UNESCO sites at once: the entire ancient part of the city and Eggenberg Castle. Graz has a strong gourmet reputation. You will appreciate the charming farm fairs or dinner at one of the famous restaurants.
On day four, we recommend that you take a trip to Melk (about 50 minutes from Westbahnhof station). The Wachau Valley is one of Austria's most romantic regions. All 33 km of the Danube River from Melk to the Krems, along vineyards and charming medieval villages, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In early April, the flowering of apricots begins. This is the most important fruit made from the famous apricot dumplings.

Day 5: Salzburg
The comfortable Railjet will take you from Salzburg Central Station to Salzburg in just 2 hours 22 minutes. Upon arrival, we recommend that you go to the tourist office near the station and buy a Salzburg map for 48 hours. With it you can use the transport for free and visit the sights.
The baroque architecture of the city among the alpine peaks covered with snow is incredibly beautiful. Salzburg is known as the birthplace of Mozart. The house where the famous composer was born is located on the main and most beautiful street in the city of Getreidegasse. At one of the local cafes, you should try the traditional air dessert of the Salzburg Nokerl. Be sure to climb the medieval Hohensalzburg fortress and take some stunning panoramic shots.

Day 6
Start your day with a tour of Hellbrunn Palace and its fun fountains. You can get here by bus # 25. Well, after lunch, take the time to taste the beer of Salzburg. There are many breweries with cozy courtyards, where you can also eat, but if you want to get acquainted with the history of brewing, we recommend visiting Stiegl Brewery.
Salzburg is the world capital of classical music. If you are planning a visit in the summer, be sure to purchase a ticket to the concert or opera in advance at the Salzburg Festival.

Day 7 and 8: Excursion from Salzburg
Departure from Salzburg to Hallstatt in the early morning (travel time by train 2 hours 30 minutes with transfer to Attnang-Poohheim). This tiny town is a real gem of Austria. The spirit captures from the views of the lakes surrounded by high mountains. It will also be interesting to visit the world's oldest salt mine. Have lunch on one of the lakes of freshly caught trout. In just 25 minutes by train, the local can reach the Ishle Bad, a small historic town with thermal springs. Come to a traditional Zauner cafe and try the exquisite cakes and cakes. By bus 546, you will reach the small village of St. Wolfgang in 25 minutes, from where you can get to St. Gilgen, the town where Sister Mozart Nunnerl lived on the lake in 45 minutes. The whole trip around this area will be accompanied by stunning views. Well, in the evening, take the 150 bus that will take you back to Salzburg in 45 minutes.
From May to October, there are two options for how to spend the eighth day of your journey. Nature lovers can go to the highest in Europe Kremlin waterfalls in the High Tauern National Park. To do this, you must first take the train to Zell am See (about 1 hour 30 minutes) and then take another narrow-gauge local railway (1 hour 25 minutes). This is a pleasant trip to enjoy the magnificent scenery outside the window. On Thursdays, and in the summer months and on Tuesdays, you can drive on an old steam engine train. There is a bus from the station of Vremml to the village.

The second option is a train ride to Werfen (about 40 minutes). Visit the medieval Hohenwerfen Fort on a high hill surrounded by mountains. It is worth spending at least an hour to inspect the castle's interiors, and then try to get on falconry in the courtyard.

Day 9: Innsbruck
Take the train to Innsbruck in the morning (1 hour 50 minutes). I advise you to buy a Innsbruck map for 48 or 72 hours for free travel around the city and the surrounding area, sightseeing and cable car and cable car lift.

This beautiful Alpine town with its medieval center is located in the Nordkette Mountains. The Hoogerburg lift station is the best example of modern design in Tirol. Take the funicular and cable car to the highest point at 2000 meters and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery
At traditional Innsbruck restaurants, it is worth ordering a local kezespeckle (a dish of cheese and onion dough) or a Tyrolean grill (potatoes with meat and vegetables in a frying pan). The rest of the day makes sense to visit the sights of the city and buy souvenirs.

Day 10
3 Visit the main attractions near the historic center of Innsbruck. Take tram # 1 to the Bergisel ski jump, then continue to the small mountain village of Eagles (just 15 minutes by J bus).
In the afternoon, head to the magnificent Ambras Castle with its magnificent collection of art.
Day 11 and 12: Excursions from Innsbruck
Early in the morning, take the tram from Südtiroler Platz to the village of Mutters (about 30 minutes). From the station, walk past the church and see a typical Tyrolean farm with painted facades. The next stop is the Mutteralm cable car (travel is included in the Innsbruck map). Climb up and spend a few hours strolling in the mountains and eating lunch in a mountain hut.
Return to Innsbruck from where you go straight to Wattens at the Swarovski Crystal World Museum. From the station you can get here by shuttle, which departs 4 times a day and takes about 30 minutes straight to the entrance, or by train to the station Fritzens-Wattens (16 minutes, then 15 minutes on foot).

On the last day of the trip, take the train to Rattenberg (45 minutes). It is a town on the river Inn - the oldest in Austria. On the main street with colorful facades you can walk through cozy shops, visit the church and the ruins of the castle.

Continue on bus # 4074 to the Alps, one of the most picturesque villages of Tyrol with distinctive wooden houses and balconies with flower beds. In September, as in other Tyrolean villages, there is a feast for cows from summer pastures.
