A new oyster season for all fresh seafood connoisseurs will begin in Ireland soon. The country has long since discovered the perfect marketing move, namely the sale of fresh oysters. In honor of this, the Irish even came up with a four-day festival of dancing, delicious food and competitions. The Galway Oyster Festival is famous for its rich entertainment program, which is different and exciting every year. Usually the beginning of the festival is symbolized by a solemn oyster parade and then the holiday gradually turns into an informal event. Flavoring fresh oysters in incredible numbers is accompanied by a men's championship, whose main goal is to determine the winner of opening two-leaf gusts for speed and masterly eating more than 30 oysters.
