Cheese and Wine Festival invites you to come to Lviv and spend the weekend in company of friends with a glass of wine and slices of delicious cheese. In 2019, the celebrations began on October 18 and will continue for two more days. The history of the festival is connected with the distant past. In Lviv, four centuries ago, a warm climate prevailed, which contributed to the cultivation of grapes. Thus, the vineyards on the southern slopes of the High Castle, Lychakow, and then - on the hills of Kaiserwald, up to the Vinnytsia, gave to the Lviv more than a hundred barrels of wine each year.
