We are all different: we are from different parts of the world, we speak different languages, we believe in different things, we have different skin colors, interests and tastes, as well as different priorities. However, as we all come together, we can understand that the power of our diversity unites us and together we can change our environment. This is the motto of the Sziget Festival community, which is celebrating its 27th this year.

No wonder Sziget is considered to be the most vibrant and large-scale get-together in Europe - during the whole week there will be cult and newly formed groups, lots of entertainment and definitely new acquaintances.
Last year, it ran from August 8 to August 14. This year's mass date is currently known. In 2019 Sziget will start on August 7 and will continue the tradition of the week. Its venue is the iconic Obud Island in Budapest.
the festival is amazed by sports and cultural events: guests watch movies, participate in competitions, visit exhibitions theaters and circuses, learn new languages, get involved in charity events and most importantly enjoy the action.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online at the official site of the festival https://szigetfestival.com/en/programs#!/vlist For 7 days (from the beginning until the closing of the festival) it will cost 339 EUR. If you wish to arrive only for 3 days (you can choose from which number), you will have to pay 219 EUR, or for 1 day - 79 EUR. There were tickets for 5 days, but they were already bought up. Prices are per page listed for August 2019. Upon arrival, you will need to replace your e-ticket with a bracelet. If the ticket has not been purchased in advance, then there are two queues: the ticket office and the exchange office.
Festival program and main stages

Every day different music bands and soloists will create a crazy atmosphere of a music festival.

This year's Sziget program map promises to be saturated.
The main stage of the Dan Panaitescu Main Stage will be the center of the island. It will feature the most famous and popular artists. You can expect all genres of music and unforgettable performances. In addition, it will host the loudest parties, such as a colorful party.
The huge A38 Pavilion is sure to be one of Sziget's favorite hotspots, bringing every visitor a variety of styles, fashion and fresh music. On the A38 you will find everything from rock to electronic music and more. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
Bacardí Arena will host electro-style parties. EDM, techno, minimalism, trans will participate in this show. This arena will be one of the best at the Sziget Festival. The music show will be arranged by young, talented DJs, iconic figures.
The festival will have more than 30 locations for games, entertainment and recreation.
More fun!
The participants of the boat party will be able to discover Budapest in a special and exciting way! The elegant ship Europe offers fun for everyone: relaxing on armchairs while gazing at the city's majestic landmarks, or having a crazy party on board. All passengers will be able to enjoy the world-famous panorama of Budapest, the bridges that float beneath them, or the age-old buildings on the waterfront, coming off a party in the middle of the Danube.

Hygiene products, towel, adhesive plaster, bactericidal agent, medication needed for continuous administration, detergent

Tanning lotion, mosquito and insect cream.

2. What you can take:

Food: You can bring your own food to the area, but make sure it does not exceed commercial food. Also, there will be a variety of shops and lots of food stalls and bars on site!

Drinks: Non-alcoholic beverages can be brought in 1 plastic bottle / maximum 2.5 liters per 1 lattice

Tobacco: maximum 20 packs of cigarettes and 10 cigars per 1 cigarette allowed

3. What to leave home
Alcohol is prohibited in any quantity

Prohibited drugs, drugs and other stimulants

Gas vodka or balloons: cooking is not allowed at the festival, many delicious food options are offered

Residence

The organizers of the festival suggest camping, but you can usually book a room at any city hotel. The campground is divided into free and closed campsites with improved accommodation for EUR 79 per day. There are several toll plots, all of them with their own raisins: Alternativa with Italian hosts and Apero with French, Bridge near the Danube bridge, Caravan for trailers, Family with playgrounds and animators, Siesta with a snack bar and VIP- camping with swimming pool.
For an additional fee, you can book a pre-arranged tent and book a seat in a wooden house.
