Real rivers of tomato juice fill the Bunyol streets every year after the tomato battle . In just an hour, 150 tons of red Spanish tomatoes used at the Tomatino Festival are being destroyed in the city . Every year, the festival's start date changes, but the tradition of holding it in the last week of August remains the same . The festival lasts a week and in 2019 it will start on August 30, accompanied by competitions, music, dance and other interesting components. The main spectacle of the festival, as always, will be the battle of tomatoes.

The celebration program will consist of the following steps :
