From June 3, Uzhhorod Airport will resume flights again.

May 15, the chairman of the regional council met with representatives of the airline of the public joint stock company "Motor Sich" regarding the restoration of direct flights from the airport "Uzhhorod" along the route Uzhgorod - Kiev - Uzhgorod.

The flight will resume its work from 3 June 3 times a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If necessary, increase frequency to daily. Departure from Uzhgorod 6:45 return from Kiev 20:15. Ticket price is from 2700 UAH.

"The authorities of the region, its residents and guests are interested in restoring aviation connections between Uzhgorod and Kiev, as it was before - at least 5 days a week, so make every effort to this. Unfortunately, due to the expiration of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Slovak Republic on the transfer of responsibility for the provision of air traffic services, the execution of flights has been suspended. So, according to the head of the regional council, approximately on May 30 this year this important agreement will be signed. In order for the airport to operate, it had European security certification and the power of the region, and its deputy corps did everything for that, "said Mikhail Rivis.
